Children

Children are a blessing from the Lord and we would love to have yours join us at Shiloh!  Our Children’s Ministry is for Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Our purpose is to provide a loving, fun, Christian environment where children can grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord.  Ultimately, it is our fervent desire to see all of our children come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.  Our teachers seek to share Biblical truths through a variety of classes that meet weekly:

• Sunday School – Sunday mornings at 10am – We have two classes, one for early elementary (K – 2nd), and the other for older elementary (3rd – 5th).  Each week children have Bible lessons, Scripture memorization, and learn to apply Biblical truths to everyday life, all in a fun, engaging way.
• Team Kids – Sunday evenings at 5:30pm – This fun Sunday night class helps children to learn to face life’s challenges with a confidence that comes from knowing Christ.
• Children in Action – Wednesday nights at 7pm – Our Children in Action group is focused on missions.  Not only do our children learn about missionaries, but they also participate in various mission activities throughout the year, such as visiting a nursing home, making cards, packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, and making blankets as mission opportunities.

Other special activities are the Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School, Fall Festival, and various skits/plays that are performed for the church.
